The AlbionEveningGathering community is built on mutual respect and fair play. These guidelines ensure our gathering hall remains a place where players of all backgrounds feel welcome, safe, and treated with dignity. We expect every member of our community to uphold these standards.
Our moderation team reviews reports regularly and takes action when guidelines are violated. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that persistently violate these standards.
Treat Others With Respect
- Use respectful language: Avoid profanity, slurs, harassment, or abusive language directed at other players or our staff.
- No discrimination: We do not tolerate discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, age, or religion.
- Protect privacy: Do not share other players' personal information without consent. This includes real names, locations, social media handles, or contact details.
- Be supportive: Encourage new players, congratulate winners, and celebrate good gameplay. Our community thrives when we lift each other up.
- Accept outcomes gracefully: Wins and losses are part of gaming. Accept results with dignity and avoid blaming others or our systems unfairly.
Actions That Will Result In Consequences
- Harassment and abuse: Repeated messages targeting an individual, threats, or intimidation of any kind.
- Hate speech: Any language that demeans individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
- Sexual harassment: Unwanted sexual advances, comments, or requests in chat or messaging.
- Spam and flooding: Repetitive posting, excessive capitalization, or attempts to disrupt gameplay.
- Cheating and exploits: Using unauthorized software, exploiting game bugs to gain unfair advantages, or colluding to manipulate game outcomes.
- Account trading and purchasing: Selling, buying, or trading accounts is strictly prohibited. Each account must be registered by and played only by the account owner.
- Impersonation: Pretending to be staff members, other players, or using misleading usernames to deceive others.
- Real-money transactions: Exchanging Gold Marks for real money is prohibited. Our virtual currency has no monetary value and cannot be redeemed.
- Promotion of illegal activities: Soliciting, discussing, or promoting illegal activities in any form.
- Technical abuse: Using bots, automation tools, or attempts to access our systems without authorization.
Our Response to Violations
We use a progressive enforcement system proportionate to the severity and frequency of violations:
- Warning: First-time minor violations typically result in an official warning. You will be notified of the specific violation.
- Temporary suspension: Repeated violations or serious offences may result in a temporary ban from accessing your account (typically 24 hours to 14 days).
- Permanent ban: Serious or repeated violations after previous actions may result in permanent termination of your account and forfeiture of any remaining Gold Marks.
We maintain the right to take any action we deem appropriate, including immediate permanent bans for severe violations such as threats, illegal activity, or systematic cheating.
How To Report Violations
If you witness a violation of these guidelines, please report it to our moderation team:
- In-game reporting: Use the report button or flag feature during gameplay to report a player or message in real-time.
- Email: Send detailed reports to support@albionevening-gathering.com with the player username, timestamp, and description of the violation.
- What to include: Screenshots or recordings are helpful but not required. Include the usernames involved, the time the incident occurred, and a description of what happened.
Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours. We take confidentiality seriously and will not disclose your identity to other players unless required by law. Harassment or retaliation for making a report will result in immediate action.
False Reports
Reporting players falsely or maliciously to disrupt gameplay may result in action against your account. Reports should be made in good faith.
